We Exhibit is opening a project-based position for an Architect/Designer ahead of the dismantling phase of the exhibitions for Biennale Arte 2026 (with the possibility of follow-up involvement in the 2027 exhibition projects).
During the dismantling phase, the selected candidate will support the Production and Exhibit Design team in planning and coordinating on-site operations across various dismantling sites.
In the exhibition setup phase (subject to potential renewal of the agreement), the selected candidate will independently and/or collaboratively support the Production and Exhibit Design teams in the development of cultural exhibition projects, from the executive design phase through production and on-site direction during installation and/or dismantling.
General requirements:
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in exhibition design and setup
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to manage tasks without supervision
- Flexibility and determination, with a strong aptitude for dialogue and collaboration
-Excellent written and spoken knowledge of Italian and English
Specific requirements:
- Advanced skills in 3D modeling software (Rhino, SketchUp or similar) and 2D drafting (AutoCAD 2D)
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (especially InDesign and Illustrator)
- Experience with spreadsheets, email, and Google Drive
- Knowledge of key topics related to exhibition production
- Knowledge of materials
- Familiarity with supplier–client dynamics
- Familiarity with technical conversations with professionals such as architects and engineers
- Experience in on-site coordination
Workplace: We Exhibit’s headquarters (Venice) and project sites located throughout the historic center of Venice
Collaboration Type:
- Contract: Fixed-term employment contract, CCNL Terziario Commercio Confesercenti.
- Compensation: Annual gross salary of Euro 25.200 (prorated to the actual contract duration) + meal vouchers.
- Availability: Full-time (40 hours per week). On-site presence required; hybrid work arrangement with up to 2 remote working days per week during periods compatible with operational needs.
Period: Mid-September – December 31, 2026 (with the possibility of being extended)
