Who are the Training Series for?

The Training Series we offer are aimed at museum sector professionals, architects, designers and anyone interested in exploring these topics further. Starting this year, architects can also receive professional development credits.

Until when can I take part?
Each Training Series has a registration deadline. Once the deadline has passed or the maximum number of participants has been reached, you will no longer be able to register. Check the programme or brochure of the course you're interested in to find out the registration deadline.

If I decide to purchase more than one Training Series, can I get a discount?

At present, no discount is available when purchasing multiple Training Series: each Training Series is priced the same regardless of the number purchased. But we don’t rule anything out for the future!

By taking part, is it possible to obtain CPD credits for architects? Yes, the Training Series provides professional development credits (CFP).

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to attend after registering, can I get a refund of the participation fee?
You can cancel your registration at any time: if you notify us at least 30 days before the Training Series begins, we’ll refund your fee minus a €30 administration charge. After this period, you can attend another Training Series of your choice from the current programme free of charge.

Where will the Training Series take place?The Training Series will take place in person in Venice. Each day's sessions will be held at a different venue, all located on the main island. All details can be found in the programme.

Can you give any tips on finding reasonably priced accommodation?
To offer a full experience in a city we know well, all participants will receive a welcome pack with our top tips when they register.

Will a certificate of attendance be issued at the end of the Training Series?

At the end of the Training Series, you can receive a certificate of attendance by email. If you need a printed copy, you can ask for one during the event.

Will learning materials, handouts and presentations be provided at the end of the Training Series?
At the end of the Training Series, all participants will receive the handouts and presentations used during the event via email, along with extra materials for further study. We’ll also share a folder with photos from the event and set up an online space to stay in touch with the rest of the group.

Should I bring my own computer?
We’ll provide paper and notebooks for taking notes, but if you prefer to use your computer, you are welcome to bring it along. You’ll have access to power sockets, as well as a selection of chargers in case you forget yours at home. We want to make sure you can work as comfortably as possible!

I’ve registered for the Training Series but I’m taking the opportunity to come to Venice with a +1. Can my companion join me and the rest of the group during social moments (aperitifs, dinners, etc)?
We are happy to invite any companions to join the group for social and networking moments. Please note that the participation fee does not include food, accommodation, transport or any activities outside of the Training Series. These costs, for both you and any companions, are the responsibility of the registrant.
